2 day Excursion Itinerary : From Errachidia to Fes
Day 1: Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert
Begin your journey with a morning departure from Errachidia. Drive through the Ziz Valley, known for its towering palm groves and ancient kasbahs, stopping at scenic viewpoints for photos. Continue towards Merzouga, where you’ll switch to camels for an unforgettable ride through the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Arrive at your desert camp, where you’ll be welcomed with traditional Moroccan tea. Enjoy a Berber dinner under the stars, followed by live drumming and storytelling around the campfire.
Day 2: Merzouga – Midelt – Cedar Forest – Fes
Wake up early to catch the sunrise over the dunes, a magical experience you won’t forget. After breakfast, return to Merzouga by camel or 4x4, then begin your journey towards Fez. Travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in Midelt for lunch. Continue through the Cedar Forest near Azrou, where you can spot the famous Barbary macaques. Pass through Ifrane, a picturesque town known for its European-style architecture. Arrive in Fes by evening, concluding your incredible 2-day journey.
