Day 1: Tangier to Chefchaouen

 

Begin your Moroccan journey in Tangier, a historic city with a unique blend of European and Moroccan influences. After breakfast, head south through the beautiful Rif Mountains towards Chefchaouen, famous for its blue-washed streets and serene atmosphere. Spend the day wandering the charming medina, visiting the lively Plaza Uta el-Hammam, and exploring the ancient Kasbah. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal in a local restaurant and settle in for the night at a cozy riad.

Day 2: Chefchaouen to Fes

 

After breakfast, continue your trip to the historic city of Fes. On the way, stop at the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site with stunningly preserved mosaics and structures. Next, head to Meknes, where you can visit the grand Bab Mansour gate and stroll through the medina. Arrive in Fes in the afternoon, with time to explore the old medina’s narrow alleys and colorful souks. Stay overnight in a traditional riad, savoring the ambiance of this fascinating city.

Day 3: Fes Exploration

Spend the day exploring Fes, Morocco’s cultural and spiritual center. Begin with a guided tour of the Fes el-Bali medina, visiting the University of Al-Qarawiyyin, one of the oldest universities in the world, and the Bou Inania Madrasa. Discover the vibrant tanneries, bustling souks, and unique artisan workshops. After a full day of exploring, return to your riad for a peaceful evening and a delicious Moroccan dinner.​

Day 4: Fes to Merzouga Desert (Camel Trek)

 

Set out early, driving through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains towards Merzouga, at the edge of the Sahara Desert. Stop in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its alpine architecture, and then in Azrou, where you may spot Barbary macaques in the cedar forests. Continue through the Ziz Valley with its lush date palm oases and ancient kasbahs, reaching Merzouga by late afternoon. Embark on a camel trek across the desert dunes, enjoying a mesmerizing sunset. Spend the night in a traditional desert camp, dining under the stars and soaking in the enchanting atmosphere of the Sahara.

 

Day 5: Merzouga to Ouarzazate

 

Start your day early to witness a stunning sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, return to Merzouga by camel and prepare for the journey to Ouarzazate. Travel through the desert landscapes and heading towards Rissani, the birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty.then to the ancient Draa Valley, one of Morocco's most scenic areas, over the stony plains. Admire the expansive stretches of verdant palm trees and traditional Berber settlements that flank the banks of Morocco's largest river, the Draa, as you meander through the valley. This lush oasis provides a picturesque contrast to the dry desert with its historic kasbahs and date palms.Continue through Agdz, a charming town at the head of the valley, where you can stop for a panoramic view of the Draa Valley and explore some of the local markets. After that have lunch, then proceed towards Ouarzazate, arriving in the afternoon where we will drop you off at your acomdation.

Day 6: Ouarzazat - Ait Benhadou - Marrakech

Finaly on the 6 day of your tour. After breafast , we will pic you up to visit the atlas studio where many famous movies and series filmed. then to kasbah Taourirt wich is a beautiful preserved structure that reflects Morocco's ancient architectural heritage. After that drive through Ait Benhaddou, a historic fortified village and UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its ancient kasbahs. Then to the High Atlas Mountains where you will have lunch in a calm, place after that, passing by many small Berber villages and winding mountain roads ( Tizi n tichka). Along the way, we will making stops at many panoramic places. in late afternoon we will arrive in the red city of Marrakech. by that the ending of your 6 days excursion from Tanger to Marrakech.
